Experience

Carlos is a Chemical Engineer from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, graduate of PADE (Inalde´s Top Management Program), completed courses in UCLA, Harvard, INSEAD, Thunderbird and UC Berkeley. He has +32 years of professional experience (President at Henkel for 14 years,  Eveready for 8 years, other positions in Union Carbide at the beginning of his career).

Since 2010 he provides organizational and personal mentoring services.

Carlos has worked with organizations ranging from 8 to 1,500 employees, with sales of less than US$1 million up to more than $300 million, in different countries in Latin America (Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panamá, Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Peru, Chile, Argentina and Brazil).

He has steered  businesses in a wide variety of circumstances in the LatAm region, having led cross-border management and change processes, acquisition of companies with different cultures and with presence in several countries, structural changes of IT systems, launches and re-launches of brands.

Carlos has led projects involving multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams, restructuring of regional businesses and functions, and all general management endeavors.
